It is not only a week full of fashion and glamor but it also redefines fashion as a whole. It has become my favorite since I saw it on television. It can be said that it takes the whole city under its grip and sways their tastes and styles.

The New York fashion week, being one the four major fashion weeks of the world is heralded with great enthusiasm in February and September of each year in New York City. The New York fashion week, held in 1943, then recognized as the Press week was the world’s first fully organized fashion week. It has inevitably now turned out to gain respect for being the trendsetter of the masses. This fashion event is attended by dignified celebrities , editors, buyers, journalists and many more. The fashion week stages excellently for American (and some international) designers to portray their current collections and make them the new ‘look’ and craze of the city. This fashion show is not monotonous with only catwalks as the eye-candy but also has changing lighting  and mild, mood-setting music to go with it. The runway collections are photographed by the press and the whole show is generalized by them in newspapers, magazines, internet and televisions for the public so that they can keep up with the latest styles and trends. These are a ‘fool-to-miss’ shows coming twice a year to enlighten your lives with ethical styles.
